Name: Rebar
Age: 71 moons
Gender: Male
Clan: Echoclan
Status: Medicine Cat
Character Slot: Normal
Character Status: Alive
Appearance: Quite short, light grey fur, blue eyes, has a long body and tail despite short legs (Think kind of like a ferret, he's still cat sized or whatever, but he's got that long boi look) He's got one of those tails that kind of look like a feather.
Personality: Rebar is a strange cat. If one couldn't tell that from his appearance, his strange accent would give it away as well. Even further, his frequent mentioning of someone known as "Asheer" would eventually reveal he worships something completely alien to most clan cats. He's often prone to long speeches and rambling, not always knowing when to shut up. He's often nervous, when he isn't overly confident in his abilities despite the fact he's likely to lose any direct fight. When he's not doing any of that or mourning, he's actually quite a dork, taking interest in seemingly mundane objects and locations, and mostly just wants other cats to like him, a fact often made harder by his general unwillingness to discuss his own personal past, instead being much more interested in talking about the history of the clans or the stonewalkers, Asheer, or any of the cats he cares/cared about. He thirsts for knowledge of any kind, which often leads to him asking too many questions, and sometimes questions that are too personal, although he's gotten better about that in recent moons. He also despises lying, and never really does it, leading to him being incredibly bad at it the very few times he does. He is, however, very fond of half truths, omissions, misleading truths, and the like, things that let him avoid saying things he'd rather not say without violating his own morals.
History: Born to Dominus, Sacredos of the stonewalkers, a religious group of cats living in a radioactive city abandoned after it's twolegs died, and an unimportant mother, Rebar was given his name to imbue him with the strength and durability of concrete. His birth mom and Dominus had a falling out, leading to Rebar being placed with another molly, who ended up abandoning him quickly, leading to Dominus placing him with a third molly, who at least waited for him to be old enough to not need milk before abandoning him in the snow, with the instructions to head towards Dominus, at the Temple of Asheer. Rebar followed that instruction, just barely making it there before collapsing from frostbite. Dominus was, of course, horrified by this, but as his group had no knowledge of herbs, he quickly realized that without drastic measures Rebar would die. And so, Dominus took drastic measures, running into clan land to beg the Shadow Stalkers to treat his son. They did, and Rebar recovered, although ever since then he has had no feeling in his paws. Rebar spent his days after that with Dominus, training in the ways of war that he could still do despite his tiny size. He learned, and quickly mastered, the stonewalkers entire knowledge of poisons, antidotes, assassination, combat tactics, and how to command other cats, eventually rising to the rank of Legatus Principale, giving him control over the other Principales and most other cats, second in rank only to Dominus himself. He led armies to a number of victories, in the name of Dominus' dream, that being peace in the city through any means necessary. Eventually, a strange clan cat, a Wind Chaser Healer, stumbled upon them, and was escorted to meet with Dominus himself. He requested that she take Rebar and a strange kit to learn the ways of healing, commanding Rebar to pretend the kit was his own. Rebar, of course, complied, and soon the three of them were in the Wind Chaser camp. Rebar spent several moons there, learning herbs and eventually falling in love with the healer, and coming to actually adopt the kit, known now as Snowkit. Peace would not last, however, as Gnoll, another Principale, grew incredibly jealous of Rebar and his new mate, wanting him for herself. Eventually, the anger and hate consumed her, and she found an ancient ritual, converting herself after her death into a nightstalker. With the incredible new strength and durability afforded to her by this transformation, Gnoll quickly began killing the leadership of the stonewalkers, hoping she'd convince Rebar to come back to her in exchange for her stopping said killing. This, of course, didn't work, and soon she turned to wiping out the clans in pure fury. Rebar abandoned the clans to their fate, taking Snowkit with him. Although he tried to keep her safe with him, he did eventually have to hide her somewhere to hunt, and when he came back she had been taken. Rebar tracked the scent of her and her kitnappers for two weeks, never managing to catch up, before a strong rain washed away their scent. Crushed and horrified of what had happened, and his own cowardice, Rebar eventually continued on his journey, hoping to find somewhere to stay. Many moons later, Rebar encountered the clans of this rp, and eventually settled in Nightclan to finish his healing training, now under the title of Medicine cat rather than healer. He, of course, specialized in poisons and antidotes, although he typically only mentioned the antidote part, and generally refused to give a detailed answer to where he learned all of this and why, only responding by saying he was a changed cat now. He views himself as retired, viewing being one of several medicine cats as far more relaxing and less stressful than anything he had done before. He even managed to receive therapy from a strange loner known as Morning Watch.
Trivia: He speaks Latin, but where he came from it was known solely as "the holy tongue of Asheer" I also totally didn't just take a cat I have from a different rp and then make the bad ending version of him.
