Nightfright is a spitting image of his father. His pelt is a mixture of white and a very light grey with black spots and stripes scattered around his body. His fur is fluffy but not very long and his eyes are a cold ice blue. While his father was very large Nightfright has his mother's smaller stature and broad shoulders. Nightfright has scarring on his back.

Nightfright is a small tom that is filled to the brim with love and wonder. He loves his family with everything he has and enjoys sitting in silent spots just watching time pass. Nightfright would do anything for his family and clan. He would kill, steal, lie, cheat, and pluck the stars from the sky. While Nightfright is filled with love every single atom in his body is filled with mistrust and an overwhelming anxiety that never goes away. No one really knows why but Nightfright does not trust anything. You could tell him the sun will rise again in the morning and he would accuse you of lying, how do you know it will rise? You can't say for certain that it will, something could happen! Nightfright was just born this way, questioning everything, never believing anything. This paranoia still lingers within him even after working with Redomen to overcome it. It has decreased and become manageable but still lingers. Nightfright has learned ways to cope and live with his anxiety and paranioa and no longer mistrusts all those around him. Sometimes it still seems like the world is out to get him, but that feeling has decreased substantially. Nightfright gets very little sleep and knows little peace. His racing mind keeps him wide awake, terrified of all the things that could happen. The caves could collapse, the mouse he ate could have given him a sickness, there could be a spy within the clan, someone could kidnap him, all the air could disappear, the shadows could give birth to a demon. Nothing is impossible for Nightfright and therefore, everything is possible, no matter how obscure. He will occasionally have a hysterical outburst but most of the time Nightfright lives in his own head. He can be shy and often won't talk much be he is very sociable and is constantly working on improving himself. He can't let his paranoia control his life. Nightfright likes to be prepared for everything. If tragedy were to strike you know Nightfright has already thought through what he would do, and has prepared backup plan upon backup plan. He is a very thorough thinker and planner. Nightfright likes to be really good at the things he does so he works very hard. Nightfright is a hard worker who loves to watch the world around him. He loves his family and his clan even if sometimes, he doesn't trust them. Like his sister, Rosebones, he doesn't know the definition of giving up. He works hard every single day to better himself, to do the best that he can. Nightfright is extremely smart and creative. Nightfright might not be the strongest physically but mentally he is unbreakable. He thinks multiple steps ahead and always seems to be in the loop. He is shy, and afraid at times but he isn't a coward. He is a realist, and very blunt, understanding the world he lives in and it's truths. His intellect is his greatest weapon. While Nightfright might be silent, always in the background, he is always listening. He makes himself unmemorable, staying on the fringes much to his contentment, but he is always listening, always watching.
History:
Nightfright was born to an Echoclan warrior, Sunmask, and a Skyclan warrior, Shatteredbones. He was part of one of the first echoclan litters. His father was an exemplary Skyclan warrior and loved his family deeply even though they were a clan away. He would have left Skyclan for them if her mother allowed it. Nightfright didn't favor either parent and loved his whole family deeply. One day Rosekit convinced him and Paintedkit to go on an adventure to visit their dad and while anxious about the trip Nightkit agreed to go. On the journey through the mountain they ran into a lone coyote. Rosekit did her best to defend her siblings and got a nasty scar on her face from it. All three kits would have died that day had it not been for Shatteredbones swooping in and saving them. He battled the coyote, giving his kits time to climb a tree. Shatteredbones killed the coyote but his wounds were too great. Shatteredbones barely survived the encounter, he was blinded in one eye and his front leg was left mangled and useless. Just like Rosekit, Nightkit blamed himself for his father's mauling. He could have told his mom or a warrior that they were planning on sneaking out. If he had spoken up his father would still be a warrior. Since his father's brush with death his paranoia and anxiety have become so much worse. He blames himself for not speaking up and stopping his sister. He didn't hate his sister for what happened, they were just kits. She took it harshly, and it broke his heart to see his loud and energetic sister slip into depression. So he suggested she go live in Skyclan. After much deliberation she left after she was made into an apprentice. It hurt but Nightpaw new it was the best for his sister.
After Rosepaw left Echoclan Nightpaw drew into his shell a little more. He would only really talk to his family and would only hang out with his sister, Paintedpaw. He had to be mentored by two warriors because one of them was unable to go out into the daylight. Even though the light hurt him as well he still wanted to travel the whole territory. Slowly Nightpaw came more and more out of his shell. Yet his anxiety and paranoia still haunted him at every turn. He barely slept and could often be found sitting as still as a rock for hours on end. While his hunting and fighting skills continued to grow and flourish his social skills and mental health continued to decline. As he grew closer and closer to becoming a warrior he felt that he couldn't handle it yet. Enough was enough, he was tired of being crippled by his anxiety and paranoia. Nightpaw approached Soulmoon, explaining his feelings and the problem and asking for an extension on his apprenticeship, at least until he could handle his anxiety and paranoia. She agreed and had him meet with Redomen for regular sessions. With Redomen's help Nightpaw learned to live with his anxiety and paranoia, he learned how to handle it and strategies to deal with it. Nightpaw was then sent on the stormclan delegation to discuss the prophecy and what was happening. While there he met two stormclan apprentices. He became fast friends with both which helped him come out of his shell more. Everything was looking up for Nightpaw until his world got turned upside down.
Nightpaw was one of the first individuals to engage with the raiders. He had been heading out of camp when they attacked, so he was at the entrance as they streamed in. Nightpaw never really thought he was brave but he proved it to himself that day. He battled fiercely and almost lost his life, numerous times. He watched as Soulmoon lost a life and in a fit of blind rage and anger he killed the attacker, the one who also happened to maul his back. Since the raid Nightpaw has pulled back within his shell. His paranoia was proven right on that day. He was made a warrior shortly after the raid. Like others in the clan he struggles to cope with the events of the raid but finds that he is sure in himslf and his abilities.
