Appearance: Phantom is a small, thin, pinkish colored fox with pale blue eyes.
Personality: When he was younger, Phantom was trusting and desperate to get close to someone. But as of now, Phantom is distrustful and slightly paranoid, thinking that anyone trying to get close to him is just trying to get something from him. He’s bitter and tries to distance himself from others, not wanting to end up in the same boat he’s been in before where he gets close to someone only for them to die. In conversation he can be quite blunt, and tries to keep everything he says brief. He is incredibly bitter towards ghosts and other things along the same lines, thinking they’re just there to cause problems. Phantom is also very persistent, willing to do whatever to get what he needs. However, if anyone were to manage to get through his incredibly tough exterior, they’d realize he can be kind and caring, even if it’s still kind of rough around the edges.
History: Phantom was born in a breeding sanctuary, but at a young age, his parents took him on an attempt to escape and be able to see the wilderness. His parents were able to manage to care for him for a while, but their lack of knowledge in surviving in the wild inevitably got to them and they died. Phantom, now on his own, decided to wander around and try and find someone who could teach him how to be able to survive on his own.
He was taken in by a wild fox named Scarlet, who taught him the basics of taking care of yourself in the wild, including wound treatment and herbs. He learned quickly and was soon at the point where he could survive on his own. He missed having company, and wanted to stay, but Scarlet didn’t want him around anymore, and chased him off. He ran, and as a quick escape, he ran underneath a precariously balanced rock, hoping it’d fall before Scarlet could attack him, but plans did not go as intended, and Scarlet ran under the rock right as it fell, being crushed. He mourned briefly, but he kept on moving, hoping to find company that’d be willing to stick around.
He wandered around for a while, coming across the twolegplace where he met a street cat named Jazz, and they bonded quickly, and even called themselves brothers, but tragically, Jazz ended up killed in a fight with a group of street cats where Phantom had gone to find food at the time. He attempted to mourn Jazz, but was chased off by the group of street cats who had killed Jazz. After fleeing and wandering for a while, he finally came across EchoClan, where he could finally settle down.
