Appearance: Grim is a normal looking raccoon. Their fur is fluffy and their tail is ringed. Their eyes are a deep green and they always seem to have leaves or sticks in their tiny little paws. They do seem to be smaller than average for a raccoon her age.
Personality: Grim is very blunt and easily annoyed. This can be due to their small size or their tendency to never get enough sleep. Grim is very curious about the world around them, wanting to learn everything about the world in which she lives in. She grew up in the twolegs place, eating their trash and hunting through their gardens. It was a simple life but not an easy one. Grim is endlessly curious, everything works for a reason and she wants to discover why. Her curiosity has gotten her into a lot of trouble before and her mean and blunt attitude hasn't helped much. Grim is on the silent side, speaking only to ask questions or throw cutting words. She is very smart and clever, able to puzzle out most problems on her own. Grim is smart but socially not so much. Grim doesn't like being alone, she just can't find individuals who don't annoy her. She puts up with others but secretly wants to belong, wants to make friends and have someone that actually cares about her. Her mean and sharp exterior normally chases others away, keeps them from getting close. She tries to be social but often times fails at it, her words coming out all wrong.
History: Grim was born in the twolegs place. She was taught how to survive and thrive. She was one of four and the smallest of her siblings. This didn't matter much at first but then food became hard to find. Her mother died eating something the humans left out and then they were left on their own. Grim did her best to keep up with her siblings, to help them and provide for them, but no matter how hard she tried she was eventually left behind. She was too small, they said, the runt that would drag them down.
So Grim was left alone in the world, trying desperately to survive. She was somehow able to do it, to find food and safety. She doesn't know what happened to her siblings but she didn't care. The pain of them abandoning her had been too great. Grim met a large old house cat, a cranky thing that hated her at first. Eventually Grim and Flora became friends. Flora had told her stories of the clans, somewhere she used to live. Grim was fascinated, Flora had been something called a medicine cat. Grim wanted to learn everything so Flora taught her. Grim stuck around Flora's house, bringing her gifts and learning from her. In doing so Grim discovered something odd. The Twolegs had this flat thing that showed strange things. Sometimes it showed animals and other times it showed Twolegs. Sometimes the Twolegs had food, other times they just did strange things. Grim became obsessed with this strange flat thing. It showed her so many things. She tried to do some of the things she saw on the flat thing but nothing ever really worked. The Twolegs who owned it seemed to like this one thing where they would watch other Twolegs cut them open and put them back together. It was odd why would they watch this? Grim became obsessed. Life was perfect, she had Flora and the strange flat thing. Then suddenly one day Flora was gone and her two legs were gone. The flat thing was gone and their cars never came back. Their nest was empty looking. Grim knew Flora would never purposely abandon her but it still hurt, it still stung. So she left the twolegs placed and went looking for those clans Flora had told her about.

Trivia: Grim was watching tv through the windows. The Twolegs liked to watch nature documentaries, survival dramas/documentaries, and medical dramas. Grim couldn't hear the tv or what they were saying but she pieced together some things on her own.
